Electrolysis

What is the Cost of Electrolysis?

The cost of electrolysis can vary widely from person to person. Each person’s hair removal needs are unique, and an electrolysis professional is your best source for accurate information regarding the cost of electrolysis to meet your needs. The cost of electrolysis is related to the size of the areas to be treated, the type and density of hair in the affected areas, and the number of sessions required for successful treatment.

The cost of electrolysis is generally based on the number of hours required for electrolysis treatments. Hourly rates typically range between $75 and $125 per treatment hour. Many electrolysis providers have general pricing packages for different parts of the human body, with options for both male and female patients.

Keep in mind that electrolysis professionals charge different rates based on a variety of factors. The most highly trained and professionals tend to charge the highest rates. In addition to expertise of the electrolysis professional, the type of equipment used can also impact price. Following an initial consultant with an electrolysis professional, you should have a good idea of the cost of electrolysis for your specific needs.

Keep in mind that safety should be a primary concern when selecting an electrolysis professional. Be wary of electrolysis providers whose rates are significantly lower than average. Your health and well being, and of course the quality of treatment you will receive, should guide your selection of electrolysis providers.

Cost of Electrolysis is Lower than Other Forms of Hair Removal
When looking at the cost of electrolysis, it is important to keep in mind that electrolysis is a permanent hair removal solution. The ongoing expense of purchasing shaving supplies, waxing treatments, and depilatory creams for hair removal will be a thing of the past following electrolysis.

When you consider that electrolysis can represent the last time you need to spend time and money worrying about removing unwanted hair, it seems like an even more appealing, cost-effective solution for removing unwanted hair.

The cost of electrolysis tends to be lower with other methods of hair removal that aren’t even permanent. For example, a hairline electrolysis using laser and light removal techniques can be expected to cost up to $2,500. The cost of electrolysis for the same type of treatment can be expected to be between $150 and $600. As another example, treating sideburns with laser and light techniques costs around $3,000. The cost of electrolysis for this area can be expected to run between $180 and $700.

I have had electrolysis 3 times now and it is a flat surface instrument they have used to zap a whole area. Now the hair is still returning, so my question is how many sessions does it take before the hair does not return.
Can someone please advise as these sessions cost £50 a time and only last about 5 minutes, are they doing this correctly as reading up on this it would appear they should be zapping individual hair follicles.

I got electrolysis from a lady working out of her house for $50 an hour. Everything went great, and I couldn't be happier with the results :)
